The Western Province International Rugby Institute (WPIRI) is located in the beautiful student town of Stellenbosch!
The campus is housed at Mount Simon Estate; whereby students live in 6-person self-catering houses. This modern Estate is surrounded by the Franschhoek mountain range, which is a breath-taking view, and is only 5 minutes away from the vibrant and beautiful Stellenbosch centre.
The WPIRI‘s elite High Performance gym, “The Shed” is located at the Bosman’s Crossings Business Centre, in the heart of the town. This one-of-a-kind gym is our students’ favourite place to be (maybe even more than on the rugby field)…
Stellenbosch is also a fitness hotspot! With endless amounts of hiking/cycling trails, running routes and nature reserves, there’s never been a better place to stay active!
This town gives our students the full student-life experience when able to explore, relax and embrace the many exciting excursions, restaurants, café’s, nightlife, shopping malls and many more. It’s a town that is the home of the largest number of young adults in South Africa. A PLACE TO MEET NEW PEOPLE AND FORM LIFELONG FRIENDSHIPS!
