The programme has a proven track record of developing athletes who progress to provincial unions, Varsity Cup and Varsity Shield teams, semi-professional and professional rugby opportunities, and even national representative honours. Since its inception, UXi Sport has assisted in the development of Springbok players, a Blitzboks representative, international players, provincial union representatives, and numerous Varsity Cup and Varsity Shield athletes. Participants gain valuable playing opportunities against strong local opposition through academy, club, and representative fixtures, providing exposure to the intensity and standards of South African rugby. This environment supports player development, creates pathways into higher levels of the game, and enables athletes to build meaningful networks within one of the world’s leading rugby nations.
