Pumas Power: PRI Goes for Gold

…and the winner is…the UXi Pumas Rugby Institute!

On the 25^th of March, the UXi Pumas Rugby Institute took part in the inaugural Jimmy Stonehouse 10s Tournament, hosted at Mbombela Stadium. After six tough games, the Pumas Rugby Institute team was officially crowned the CHAMPIONS of the Jimmy Stonehouse 10s Tournament Shield Division, after their convincing finals match.

We would like to make special mention of two of our first-years: Stephen Taylor, who won the “Player of the Shield Tournament” award, and Ricardo Correia who won the “Player for the Future” award for the Tournament. Well done gentlemen!

Congratulations to all student-athletes, coaches and management for this eXtraordinary achievement. Wow, what a way to wrap up the first term!
