Objective
This programme is aimed to improve the general skills, strength and conditioning of any player at any level of previous experience to ensure optimum improvement of skills and understanding within the limits of the player. It will provide an exceptional rugby participation experience within the South African Rugby club leagues.
How?
Professional Rugby Coaches, Strength and Conditioning Coaches and UXi Life Skills Coaches, will ensure training and development within a structured environment that will also provide for focused career education and a balanced student life.
What will the player achieve?
UXi’s vision to “INSPIRE GREATNESS, THROUGH SPORT TO LIFE” strongly underpins this programme. It’s the only programme of its kind that focus on participation and improvement of general skills, conditioning, wellness and rugby understanding whilst also using SPORT to improve focus on career orientated studies.

6 months, 12 months or 18 months
Guaranteed Performance and Development
The Coaching Team in every Institute is carefully selected to ensure that the player receives world-class training, development and coaching. However, only the player’s personal commitment and effort can achieve the ultimate results envisioned. Players and parents receive weekly and quarterly statistical reports outlining the effort and performance in every aspect of the programme.

Free State Club Champions!
A huge congratulations goes out to the following UXi Cheetahs Institute of Excellence student-athletes, who recently won the 2022 “Free State Club competition” with their club, CUT (Central University of Technology, Free State). CUT defeat the renowned Shimlas, 22-19.

White River Club Champion
Congratulations to 2022 UXi Pumas Rugby Institute student-athlete, Delarey Swart and his club, White River Rugby Club, who won the 2022 Ehlanzeni Lowveld Premier League. White River Rugby Club beat Barberton Rugby Club in the July finals to claim the Ehlanzeni crown. What an incredible achievement! We are so proud of you and your team, Delarey.
Robert Earns Himself a Scholarship!
We are so excited and proud to share the eXtraordinary achievement of Robert Everson (PRI 2022). Robert, who is an extremely talented lock, has earned himself a scholarship to the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), which he has accepted.
Robert’s mother shared her gratitude for how the Pumas Rugby Institute has assisted and developed Robert this year. Robert, we are so incredibly proud of you. Your hard work and dedication to your sport has truly paid off. We are excited to see you go ABOVE and BEYOND in your new adventure.
